“ This place is perfect for a date night! It's an intimate setting. The restaurant was clean and cute(perfect for photos). I don't remember my waitress name but she was very hospitable. The entire staff's customer service was superb! The prices are reasonable. I had the tasting which consisted of three meal choices, lemonade, and wine for seventy bucks!! This was a steal !! They also offer purse hooks (which was an amazing plus)!! Street parking is available. It wasn't hard for us to find a parking spot. I will be returning soon to try the lunch menu. Continue being awesome y'all!! I pray you guys prosper and continue to thrive! ”

From the moment you walk in (where a tray of hot sauce varieties greet you) you're greeted and treated like you're at your cool Auntie's house. The seating is intimate & it requires a reservation, so call now. The food. The flavors. Even the water has flavor (cucumber, lemon, & mint). The music play list is perfection... Jill Scott... They pass delicious and move through succulent and right on to heaven. We ordered the Taste 3 and EVERYTHING was our favorite. I captured only one of the three entrees because once I took a bite, cameras went away and it was all business. If you haven't been here, you're missing out. Black culture through and through. Excellence from beginning to end. ”

“ I celebrated my New Year food journey by taking my aunt here. I'm so glad I did, I typically go to the Beverly location, but this one has been on my list for awhile. Majority of the food was absolutely amazing. The pot roast masala was my favorite. The meat was super tender and it had a hint of sweetness. The sauce with the Indian seasonings were perfect. My next favorite was the shrimp and grits, they were creamy, tasty and shrimp perfectly grilled. I ordered the seafood cornbread, the cornbread was on point, but it tastes better without the seafood. The yam fufu that came with it was delicious, not the type of fufu I'm used to but it was delicious. We had 6 different entrees and all were great as a whole, the only issues I had was with the salmon and fried catfish. They were seasoned to perfection but both had a fishy after taste that I didn't have at the Beverly one. We greatly enjoyed our meal and appreciate the chef tasting option with the delicious juice. I can't wait to work my way through this creative, different and delicious menu. Ooh, those brussel sprouts....yummy.. yummy and that sauce!!! ”
“ The food here is in short, incredible. Everything we ordered was packed with flavor and depth, we loved everything. Standout dishes were the creole dressing, lobster truffle mac & cheese, and shrimp & grits. The lemonade is $5 but once you get it you get free refills for the rest of the meal, and can alternate between both the mango and hibiscus (which I preferred, but both were deliciously refreshing). It's pricey, but the portions are truly huge so the value is good-- you'll most likely have leftovers. My group of 5 paid about $54 per person including tax/tip. The ambience is also excellent and the staff are so friendly and attentive. Such a great spot, would love to come back again maybe with an even bigger group next time. ”

“ Still a five star experience! I got the grand tasting again and the price had increased to 69 for that experience. It now also comes with a glass of wine or champagne as well as an unlimited supply of in-house juices and lemonade. The portions are large and more than justify the price. It is definitely worth it. My third selection was the seafood dressing which came with catfish, shrimp, lobster, crab, sweet potatoes, and greens. The presentation of the food is beautiful every single time. I will be back several times as there are so many items I want to try. ”
